I know its coming the inevitable comparison of touch screen devices on the market. until now we have had
iPhone vs crap that tried to be an
iPhone killer (
ie Instink) and so on.
Webos, Apple and Android are the beginning of cloud computing in the palm of your hand. now this is how these devices should be compared. How fast the network gets the information and how quick the device gets it to you and how it looks visually. This is great for people that want to do everything on the net like store contacts, email , calendar, maps,
facebook,
Myspace,
advertising, saving slash editing pictures and sending from the net, to storage of documents. Think Google apps in the palm of your hand with out anything really being stored on a device. It starts with the premise that the data services and architecture should be on servers. We call it cloud computing – they should be in a ‘cloud’ somewhere. And that if you have the right kind of browser or the right kind of access, it
doesn’t matter whether you have a PC or a Mac or a mobile phone or a
Blackberry or what have you. You can get access to the cloud. All mobile devices should be rated by how well they
achieve this very form of communication.
